Public Interest Partners welcomes a collaboration with The Public Interest Technology University Network, which produced the ComPITence Project to help professors teach students the tools to enter the field of public interest technology, and helps students and those already in the field to develop PIT skills and access PIT jobs, materials and organizations. 

Digital twin solutions can advance knowledge transfer across the continuum of public interest technology, journalism, communications and law through human capital management technology. We recognize the value of T-Shaped Skills, which can broaden the knowledge base of students and professionals either considering or already immersed in a public interest field. 

Public Interest Partners is also exploring ways to advance public interest technology transfer through Translational Service Research and Design Methodology. Our goal is to accelerate the transformation of scientific service research insights into actionable knowledge and services. Our objectives are to bridge the gap between theory and practice, co-create sustainable solutions to diverse and large-scale societal problems and illuminate the processes, outcomes and impact through data journalism and solutions storytelling.

Public Interest Partners applies the principles of Service Innovation and Responsible AI to the design of user-centered public interest technology. The strategy can facilitate the co-creation of a public interest technology stack.The process will also provide technologists, scientists and others in academia and across all industries and sectors with the ability to evaluate the possible outcomes of the creation and deployment of technological systems that focus on digital equity, sustainability and other societal imperatives.
